The 24th End of the World Festival which will be held from Friday August 2 to Sunday August 4, 2024, in Crozon (Finistère) announced the first fourteen names of its edition on Friday December 15, 2023. But already the edition promises to be very pleasant.

If the hallmark of the festival led by Jacques Guérin remains discovery, emerging artists and sounds from all over the world, it offers some delicious nuggets before Christmas.

Another well-known name that will delight the crowds is that of Keziah Jones. The artist, originally from Nigeria, always with guitar in hand, is also the creator of a musical style all his own, blufunk, which mixes blues and funk.

Raw, authentic

In another style, much more rural but just as sincere and authentic, the public will enjoy discovering the Gascon musicians of The Inspector Cluzo. Attached to the region of Châteaulin, to short circuits and to music that smells of the land, The duo is touring Europe to present their new album, Horizon, released in January 2023.

One of our favorites of the edition is certainly Moonlight Benjamin. Scheduled for 2023, the artist had been forced to cancel her visit to Crozon. Here is the Haitian again with her captivating groove.

Stars from here and elsewhere

Among them, there are No Surf. The American rock band, famous in the 1990s with its song Popular has evolved a lot since then but has kept the team almost intact.

Their name doesn't ring a bell? Their songs have been featured in many popular American television series such as Six Feet Under, Newport Beach, How I Met Your Mother Or Heroes. Nada Surf released their 9th and, to date, final album in 2020, Never Not Together.

At 23 years old and with an incredibly direct and touching voice, the Nazairienne Zaho of Sagazan should be one of the most anticipated artists of the edition. Propelled to the forefront since 2022, the artist offers songs and a universe as astonishing as they are overwhelming.

Beautiful, sweet

In this first salvo of names, there is also Bertrand Belin. The Breton, whose certain looks are reminiscent of the English crooner Nick Cave, and certain intonations of Alain Bashung, has released seven albums since 2005. The last one, Vision Drum was published in 2023.

In 2024, in Crozon there should also be the Brazilians of Bala Desejo, the English rockers ofEditors, the NormanFakearand his sweet electro, the ComorianEliasse:

the Malian woman Fatoumata Diawara, the European collective of Legiana Collective, the Nigerian Nneka, and the incredible Australian Xavier Rudd. A multi-instrumentalist, he is an outstanding didgeridoo player but also a surfer and environmental activist.
